Data Inputs

All fields, except the new-bike form, are auto-save. So, just type and it saves. You will notice the fresh text turns red like ink and then "dries" black. This is just a little confirmation that the auto-save feature is online/working

When naming or renaming a bike, the "Brand" and "Model" fields will be displayed as the background title. Edit these fields anytime by clicking on the bike Frame.

The "Miles" field has a special "+ miles" feature. If you want to add additional miles (say from a part that was transferred from another bike) to your Strava mileage, just type that number into the "Miles" field and reload the datacard. You'll now see a "+ number" right after the Miles label. The displayed mileage will include those + miles in the calculation. To remove or delete "+ miles" just type 0 in the field.

The "Size" field has a special role for rims & tires. For rims, you can include diameter, width, and depth (example 700c x 21 x 30mm) and it should draw the rim to proper scale. For tires, include tire size and width like is printed on the sidewall (example 29 x 2.4)

The "Price" field only accepts whole numbers and the dollar sign "$" is added by the system.

Color inputs: LEFT BOX (default - usually black): Clicking this restores any item to its default color. MIDDLE BOX (custom - usually rainbow): Clicking this opens the custom color picker. Once a custom color is selected, this box saves that color as its own. RIGHT BOX (none - X): clicking this removes color and hides the item. Useful for setting up a "Spare Parts" bike where you may only want the wheelset and a few other components visible.

STRAVA

To connect (or disconnect) a Strava account, go to "MyAccount" and click the "connect" link in the Strava section. This will take you to a STRAVA authorization page. If you grant access, bikeworks will link to your Strava account.

How to get strava mileage? After you have authorized the strava connection (see above), click one of the "Miles" fields in a bike datacard. The "get STRAVA miles" button will appear. It will ask you which strava bike to link to that current bikeworks bike. After that, anytime you click the "get STRAVA miles" button it will download all your rides since the last time you synced, and update bike/datacard mileage.

You can unlink any bike from your Strava account by simply clicking "unlink" at the bottomn of the "Frame" datacard. This will only unlink a single bike, not the entire account.
